Welcome to the lesson on ‘Anatomy Basics!’ This is a great lesson to read after you study Medical Terminology. Human Gross Anatomy is a class that every doctor has taken as a medical student, and you will too! It’s a challenging course due to the sheer number of things you are memorizing, working in a cadaver dissection lab, and juggling your other courses.
This Lesson Has 4 Tasks
- Read our Article on Anatomy Basics! We’ll cover all of the major anatomical systems, plus give you some links to study more about the physiology of each.
- Assignment 1: Consider joining a free anatomy teaching service. Like Teach Me Anatomy. These are great ways to periodically learn and quiz yourself anatomy. Remember it’s a marathon, not a sprint!
- Assignment 2: Here is a great article on the different types of fractures. A little clinical insight. We’re always concerned about fractures that effect a child’s growth plate. If they don’t heal right that bone may stop growing!
